Federal Healthcare Executive Award Nominating Process
FEDERAL HEALTH CARE EXECUTIVE RECOGNITION PROGRAMS
Selection and Awards Presentations
Annual selections for the awards are made at the determination of AHA Federal sector members involved in governance and AHA staff. The awards are presented at the Joint Federal Sector Breakfast during the American College of Healthcare Executives Congress in Chicago.
A call for nominations is issued in the fall to the Surgeons General of the Armed Forces, the Undersecretary for Health at the Veterans Administration and the Director of the Public Health Service. Only two nominations are accepted for each award from each branch of the service.
For additional information about the awards, please contact Merry Beth Kraus at 312-422-3338.
