Executive Leadership Opportunities
The 28th Annual Health Care Systems Leadership Retreat is October 13-14, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona, by invitation to AHA's system Presidents/CEOs. The Retreat continues AHA's 27-year tradition of providing a thoughtful setting to share unique leadership perspectives and candidly discuss the challenges and opportunities facing system executives across the country with colleagues, members of the AHA Board of Trustees and AHA executive management.
Health System Executives gather for an Executive Session to hear an overview of the recent AHA Board meeting and discuss key issues for health systems.

Periodically, small groups of health system executives are invited to meet in Washington, Dc, with their colleagues to hear updates from AHA senior staff and provide input on important legislative and policy issues impacting the health care field.
Health System Executives who are former members of the AHA Board of Trustee, Health Care System Governing Council, and recent Regional Policy Boards constitute an 'alumni' advisory group to the AHA known as the President's Forum for Health System Leaders. Executives gather twice a year in Washington, DC, to discuss key issues and advise the association on key strategic issues, including advocacy and field leadership.
