The House Ways & Means and Energy & Commerce committees last Thursday approved their version of an economic recovery bill, which includes a $20 billion investment in health information technology (IT) for hospitals and doctors. However, inpatient rehabilitation, long-term care and inpatient psychiatric hospitals were not included in the IT funding. Learn More
