Hospital Compare: CMS Suspends Display of Hospital-Acquired Conditions Data

Medicare Inpatient and Long-term Care PPS: The Final Rule for Fiscal Year 2011

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services \(CMS\) released its FY 2011 final rule for the hospital inpatient and long-term care prospective payment systems \(PPS\) on July 30. CMS Final Rule on Meaningful Use of EHRs

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services \(CMS\) on July 28 published a final rule defining ")meaningful use") of electronic health records \(EHRs\). At the same time, the Office of the National Coordinator \(ONC\) for Health Information Technology issued a final rule that sets certification criteria, standards and implementation specifications for EHR technology.
