Final Rule Expands National Practitioner Data Bank Reporting Requirements

On January 28 the Health Resources and Services Administration published a final rule expanding who must report information to the National Practitioner Data Bank \(NPDB\). The rule does not change the reporting requirements for hospitals. However, it requires additional entities, such as private accrediting and peer review organizations, to report adverse actions to the data bank. Learn More
