• Critical Access Hospitals
  Critical access hospitals (CAHs) are limited-service hospitals that receive cost-based reimbursement under Medicare. The program imposes modest limits on small, rural hospitals while allowing communities continued access to inpatient and other hospital-based services. AHA maintains a website with up-to-date information about the legislative, regulatory and operational environment facing CAHs.
• National Community Care Networks Demonstration Project 
  Community care networks - "CCNs" for short - are a new framework for delivering health care in the context of the local community. CCNs are partnerships focused on achieving better accountability, aligning resources with social needs, and improving the health of the population.
