CDC, Others to Host Ebola Preparedness Call Today at 1 p.m. ET for Hospitals and Health Systems

Extra phone lines added for today’s call

Today, Oct. 20, from 1-2 p.m. ET, officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and HHS Intergovernmental and External Affairs will host an Ebola preparedness call for hospitals and health systems.

Hospital representatives can participate in today’s call by calling 888-395-7964, and using the participant code 9622268. In addition, a live web stream of the call is available at: http://event.on24.com/r.htm?e=875793&s=1&k=1060AEB3C4A38A847A20460D9939A2AB. While the CDC and other agencies have added additional lines for the call, they are encouraging hospital representatives to assemble in one location, if possible, to listen to the call.

In addition, hospital representatives should use this form to submit questions in advance of the call. No questions will be taken during the call.

If your hospital cannot participate in today’s call, the audio and a transcript of the call will be posted on the ASPR webpage.
