Collaborative Care: Integrating Behavioral Health and Oncology, Massachusetts General Hospital

A discussion on the effective integration of behavioral health and oncology featuring executives from Massachusetts General Hospital was held on Thursday, September 7, at 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET.

Dr. Kelly E. Irwin, Director, Collaborative Care and Community Engagement Program, MGH Cancer Center, Instructor in Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, and Dr. Inga Lennes, SVP of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization, described the creation, implementation and impact of a collaborative care model at Massachusetts General to improve cancer care for patients with serious mental illness.
