Members-only Webinar

Hospital-based Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility and Enrollment

Held Tuesday, March 4, at noon ET

This 90-minute session featured the latest implementation news from Medicaid officials with the Centers on Medicare & Medicaid Services. Outside experts on presumptive eligibility look at specific tools for hospitals including the Enroll America Presumptive Eligibility Toolkit found at aha.org/GetEnrolled. The Affordable Care Act provides hospitals with a new opportunity to help potentially eligible Medicaid patients gain health coverage. This new opportunity, called presumptive eligibility determination, allows hospitals to temporarily enroll patients into Medicaid coverage with a few basic pieces of information, such as income and household size, at the point of service.

This webinar is another value of your membership in the AHA.
