Trinity Health, Novi, MI

Recognizing the importance of this year's election, Michigan-based Trinity Health has used resources and tools from the AHA's "We Care, We Vote," initiative in several efforts to educate and engage its hospital family about the important health care issues and encourage employees to vote.

"This is a critical election year, and the individuals we elect will make many important decisions concerning the future of health care," Trinity Health President and CEO Joseph Swedish said in an October newsletter article encouraging Trinity employees to vote. "Form your own opinions and then cast your ballot on November 6 and show how much hospital associates care for local patients as well as communities across the country."

As part of its efforts to encourage employees to vote, Trinity Health, one of the nation's largest health systems, posted fact sheets on its internal advocacy website examining some of the important health care issues being debated in the election.  Read more.
