You are invited to join a small group of your executive colleagues for a webcast and discussion about how the 11th Judicial Circuit Criminal Mental Health Project (CMHP) successfully diverts individuals with serious mental illnesses (SMI) or co-occurring SMI and substance abuse disorders away from the criminal justice system and into comprehensive community-based treatment and support services.

Javier Hernandez Lichtl, CEO & Corporate Chief Academic Officer, West Kendall Baptist Hospital, Baptist Health South Florida, and Steve Leifman, Associate Administrative Judge, Miami-Dade County Court will describe the CMHP components including: Pre & Post Booking Jail Diversion and Forensic Hospital Diversion. They will also highlight:

  • Hospital participating in the program
  • Funding sources and outcomes
  • Access to entitlement benefits
  • Future initiatives

Time has been reserved for you to talk with Javier and Steve and your colleagues after their remarks. If you can join us for this webcast and discussion, please let us know by registering: Click Here.   If you registered for the March 4th call, you WILL need to register for this call.  If you have specific issues you would like to discuss, please note them on the online registration form.
