Regulatory Relief

The men and women who work in America's hospitals strive to keep pace with thousands and thousands of pages of rules that govern Medicare and Medicaid. But they are fed up with a system that often forces caregivers to spend more time pushing paper than treating patients. Hospitals are drowning in a sea of government regulations that divert limited resources to administrative paperwork, and create a morass of complicated and duplicative requirements that often confuse those who are suppose to be guided by them. Every time nurses, physicians and other health care workers care for a patient, a host of regulations and statutes govern their action.
