The Medicare Advantage Payment Guide for Out of Network Payments (June 15, 2006) is a guide to help MA plans in situations where they are required to pay the original Medicare rate to out of network providers. This document is just a general outline, but addresses all inpatient and outpatient providers by type.

The Medicare Guide to Rural Health Services Information offers Medicare providers, suppliers, and physicians rural health information and resources in a single source.

CMS Medlearn Articles and Transmittal Notices for MMA Provisions Affecting Rural Hospitals and CAHs: CMS has issued implementing instructions for several of the provisions of the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) that affect small or rural hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals. The link above lists CMS Medlearn Matters (MM) articles and Transmittal Notices. The June 2007 issue provides information on a new regulation that may impact payments for providing services through Indian health programs.
