This manual is designed to provide a simplified overview of a particular topic. It is not intended as an exhaustive or complete analysis of the topic and you should note carefully the source material at the bottom of each topic page. While we have attempted to keep the information in this manual current and updated, you should also verify the information by reviewing the source documents. Local medical review policies will often enhance or limit the general Medicare information.
