Hospital leaders explain the recession's impact at the AHA annual meeting

At the AHA annual meeting this week, hospital leaders from across the country explained how their organizations were weathering the economic crisis. Above, Kenny Boyd, CEO of the Girard Medical Center in Girard, KS, records a YouTube video message about how the downturn is affecting his hospital, and his greater community. The video messages were recorded and posted online in conjunction with the release of an AHA study detailing the impact of the recession on hospitals.
