Section for Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Services

The purpose of AHA's Section for Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Services is to promote and enhance the understanding of the behavioral health care needs of persons of all ages, and of the issues pertinent to health care provider organizations. The section seeks to improve continuity of care, and define and focus AHA policy, advocacy, and service efforts specific to psychiatric and substance abuse service providers.
