Circle of Life Award

The AHA Circle of Life Award honors innovative programs in palliative and end-of-life care. The award is supported in part by the California Healthcare Foundation, based in Oakland, California. Major sponsors for the 2008 award are AARP, the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, the American Hospital Association, the Catholic Health Association, and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization & National Hospice Foundation. The Center for Practical Bioethics is an award co-sponsor.
