Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Disparities
ABOUT THIS NEW RESOURCE
To help the hospital field improve the care provided to minorities and eliminate disparities in care, the AHA has convened a Special Advisory Group on Improving Hospital Care for Minorities. This diverse group includes national leaders representing civil rights organizations, hospitals, public health agencies, state and federal government, academic medicine, health care researchers and others. The group examines and provides guidance on how hospitals can help eliminate disparities in care.
