Thanks to your advocacy work, at last count 69 House Republicans have signed a letter to HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt opposing the Administration's proposals to cut Medicaid through the regulatory process. House and Senate conferees have reportedly dropped an AHA-opposed provision from the Tax Relief Extension Reconciliation Act of 2005 (H.R.4297) that would have required that an independent auditor or counsel certify a tax-exempt organization's annual Form 990 and Form 990-T.
