Get Ready to Take Your Pulse
In order to get the most out of the AHA Digital Pulse you will want to assemble a team with the insight to accurately complete the assessment.
You also will need to register for access to the tool with your work email.

It’s as easy as 1,2,3
- Assign a point person
This person will be responsible for running the assessment and for inviting others at your organization to participate. This person also will serve as the single point of contact with the AHA Digital Pulse team if you need a demo of the assessment before you start, or if questions come up along the way.
- Identify other participants
Typically the "point person" will identify two to four people to participate in order to evaluate how well your organization is performing today and describe the solutions and tools you are using.
For the AHA Digital Pulse assessment on COVID-19, we recommend tapping into your clinical leaders, including your Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, as well as operational leaders including those in telehealth, workforce areas
For the Digital Front Door we recommend you enlist leaders from Marketing, IT, Patient Experience, Strategy or Telehealth to help you complete the assessment.
- AHA Membership Verification
This new tool is exclusively for AHA members. Before you get started, you’ll need to visit AHA.org and create an account on the site, if you haven’t done so already. If you have already created an account on the site you will need to make sure this account is “linked” to your AHA member organization (detailed instructions). A helpful video is also available below.
