CMS Proposes Regulatory Burden Reduction for Medicare & Medicaid Programs

On Sept. 17 at an event in Washington, D.C., Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Seema Verma unveiled a new proposal to reduce some of the regulatory burden associated with the Medicare and Medicaid conditions of participation for providers and conditions for coverage. AHA President & CEO Rick Pollack stressed the importance of regulatory burden reduction for providers and patients and praised the Administration’s ongoing efforts to provide relief. Read more.
