Premier Pharmacy Labs has voluntarily recalled several lots of injectable drug products, primarily opioid pain relievers, due to possible microbial contamination, the Food and Drug Administration announced yesterday. Hospitals and other health care facilities should stop using and return any recalled products to the company as described in a certified letter sent to all affected customers. Any adverse reactions or quality problems experienced with the products may be reported to the FDA's MedWatch program.
