Senate confirms Brooks-LaSure as CMS administrator
The Senate today voted 55-44 to confirm Chiquita Brooks-LaSure to serve as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services administrator. AHA last month voiced support for the Biden nominee, who served the Obama administration as deputy director for policy at CMS’ Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight and before that as director of the Department of Health and Human Services’ coverage policy.
