The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will host a March 25 webinar on improving maternal health during the postpartum period. The webinar will describe the clinical and social risks that contribute to morbidity and mortality in postpartum individuals, and how expanding the postpartum coverage period in Medicaid provides the time and access to care needed to mitigate these risks.
