The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. ET will host a special one-hour webinar for hospitals and health systems interested in becoming Ebola Treatment Facilities designated to care for Ebola-positive patients over the course of their illness.

Officials from CDC and ASPR will provide an overview of their strategy for managing Ebola, the activities of the CDC’s Rapid Ebola Preparedness (REP) Team, including reviewing the tool they use to assess hospital readiness, prioritization and lessons learned. They also will briefly review issues around personal protective equipment use and supply. The balance of the time will then be devoted to answering participants’ questions. A detailed agenda is attached.
