A Pathway for Physicians

Health and health care are changing rapidly, with influences across the field and different health care actors. The implications of MACRA, along with consumerism and virtual care, are driving new and different structures, relationships, and expectations. The American Hospital Association, in an effort to help position the field to be successful in developing and sustaining the relationships that will drive better physician leadership, patient care and health outcomes, is developing a roadmap and a set of activities encouraging physician involvement and inclusion across a broad range of Association initiatives. Physicians and their administrative colleagues will have numerous opportunities to convene during the Leadership Summit with sessions designed to be relevant and responsive to their interests included as part of the Summit's Physician Pathway.

Information on the Physician Pathway for 2018 will be available in March.
