Description
Participating in alternative payment models (APMs) is one strategy for hospitals and health systems to promote value for their patients and to align internal and external stakeholders around improving affordability and outcomes for patients. To help your institution determine which Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Medicare Advantage (MA) APMs are right for you, we’ll review the existing landscape of APMs and describe the elements that are common among most models. We will also offer a preview of the models on which we expect CMS and CMMI to focus this year and in the future. Finally, representatives from member hospitals will share how they help their front line practitioners stay up-to-date and focused on the aspects of participation in APMs that are relevant to them.
