U.S. News & World Report will host a March 5 webinar for hospital leaders to review its plans to publish this spring hospital ratings for common inpatient procedures and conditions. According to the publisher, most U.S. hospitals that have admitted Medicare patients for coronary artery bypass graft surgery, total hip and knee replacement, congestive heart failure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease will be publicly rated in one or more procedures and conditions. U.S. News journalists and data analysts will describe their data sources and the methodology behind the forthcoming ratings and provide information on key dates that are approaching, which will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Before the ratings are published, hospitals registered to use the publisher’s Best Hospitals Dashboard will be able to access their ratings and a video and report on the ratings methodology. Register online for the 60-minute webinar, scheduled for 12 p.m. ET. Questions may be directed to email@example.com.
