VA proposes to clarify medication reimbursement for non-VA emergency care
The Department of Veterans Affairs yesterday published a proposed rule clarifying its regulations with respect to reimbursement of medications prescribed or provided to veterans during non-VA emergency treatment. The agency said the proposal would help ensure that the regulations “are not interpreted more narrowly than VA intends.” Comments on the rule will be accepted for 60 days.
