National Fire Protection Association issues draft revised codes for comment
The National Fire Protection Association is accepting comments through May 16 on proposed revisions to its Life Safety Code and Health Care Facilities Code for 2018. The LSC includes general requirements for all new and existing buildings, while the HCFC contains more detailed provisions for health care building systems and equipment. The AHA’s American Society for Healthcare Engineering affiliate provided input to NPFA as it developed the revisions and encourages its members to comment on the draft 2018 editions of the codes, available at www.nfpa.org/101next and www.nfpa.org/99next.
