The Hospital Preparedness Program will host two 60-minute calls Aug. 9 to gather stakeholder feedback on the “Draft 2017 Health Care Preparedness and Response Capabilities.” For details on accessing the calls, at 11 a.m. ET and 1 p.m. ET, see the document, which outlines high-level objectives for the nation’s health care delivery system to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. The Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response is accepting comments on the document through Aug. 12.
