Report: FL hospitals contribute more than $128 billion to state's economy
Florida hospitals contribute more than 901,600 jobs and $128 billion to the state's economy, according to a University of Florida study released this week by the Florida Hospital Association. "Hospitals are the largest employers in many communities across Florida," said FHA President Bruce Rueben. "Our member hospitals constantly reinvest in their communities and train new generations of health care providers."
