CMS: 2018 HealthCare.gov enrollment approaches 2.3 million
Nearly 2.3 million people selected a 2018 health plan through HealthCare.gov Nov. 1-18, including nearly 800,000 last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services reported today. Three-quarters of those selecting plans were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. Thirty-nine states are using HealthCare.gov for 2018 open enrollment, which runs through Dec. 15. CMS plans to update the estimates weekly during the open enrollment period.
