Almost 1.2 million people selected a 2019 health plan through HealthCare.gov Nov. 1-10, including more than 804,000 last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services reported yesterday. More than three-quarters of those selecting plans were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. Thirty-nine states are using HealthCare.gov for 2019 open enrollment, which runs through Dec. 15. CMS plans to update the estimates weekly during the open enrollment period.
