More than 177,000 people selected a 2020 health plan through HealthCare.gov Nov. 1-2, the first two days of open enrollment, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced today. Nearly three-quarters of those selecting plans were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. Thirty-eight states are using HealthCare.gov for 2020 open enrollment, which runs through Dec.15. CMS plans to update the estimates weekly during the open enrollment period.
