More than 2.3 million people selected a 2021 health plan through HealthCare.gov Nov. 1-21, including nearly 760,000 last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today announced. About 75% were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. Thirty-six states are using HealthCare.gov for 2021 open enrollment, which runs through Dec.15. CMS plans to update the estimates weekly during the open enrollment period.
