Reminder: ARPA coverage subsidies for unemployed take effect July 1
Starting July 1, the American Rescue Plan Act makes individuals who receive unemployment compensation beginning in 2021 eligible for cost-sharing subsidies through the federally facilitated Health Insurance Marketplace.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today encouraged eligible individuals to enroll in Marketplace coverage or update their application and enrollment to maximize their savings during the special enrollment period, which ends Aug. 15.
