CMS launches collaborative to reduce low-risk cesarean deliveries in Medicaid
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Friday announced a learning collaborative and webinar series to help state Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program agencies improve maternal and infant health by reducing cesarean deliveries for low-risk pregnancies. CMS invites state agency staff and their quality improvement partners, including hospitals, to participate in the three-part webinar series beginning March 31. After the series, an affinity group will provide technical assistance to support the initiative. Learn more and register for the webinar series here.
