CDC: Ebola outbreak over in Uganda

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention today joined the government of Uganda and global public health community in marking the end of the Ebola outbreak in Uganda, 42 days after the last reported case. While the U.S. will lift entry screening and public health monitoring of travelers from Uganda, CDC said it will continue to support Uganda with surveillance and other activities to rapidly detect and respond to any future cases.
