CMS to host webinar on 2025 hospital price transparency requirements
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Oct. 21 will host a webinar on meeting new hospital price transparency requirements which become effective Jan. 1. The most recent changes became effective July 1, which require hospitals to use a standard machine-readable file format, which includes some new data elements, such as the negotiated rate methodology and an accuracy and completeness statement.
