AHA Town Hall provides Washington update
During the July 21 afternoon plenary session, AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack moderated a panel with Stacey Hughes, AHA executive vice president of government relations and public policy, Chad Golder, AHA general counsel and secretary, and Ashley Thompson, AHA senior vice president of public policy analysis and development. The panel discussed the latest activity on Capitol Hill with a focus on health care policy, the administration’s priorities and the current political landscape, as well as the AHA’s advocacy priorities and how the AHA is helping health care leaders navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
