Dec. 14 is first webinar in Dignity Health-HAV series
The AHA’s Hospitals Against Violence initiative Dec. 14 will host the first in a series of webinars focused on human trafficking led by Holly Austin Gibbs from Dignity Health. This presentation, titled Human Trafficking 101: Dispelling the Myths, will share Dignity Health’s information on and their experiences with how to identify and assist trafficked persons with victim-centered, trauma-informed care and services. Gibbs leads Dignity Health’s Human Trafficking Response Program and will be joined by Philip Brown, RN, director of emergency services at Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center in Merced, CA.
