Center to offer Ebola, infectious disease preparedness workshop
The National Ebola Training and Education Center will offer a tuition-free workshop Jan. 30-31 in Atlanta to help health care and public health professionals manage and maintain readiness for Ebola and other emerging infectious diseases. The workshop also will be offered March 27-28 in Omaha, NE. The Department of Health and Human Services established the center with Emory University, the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Nebraska Medicine and New York City Health + Hospitals/Bellevue after the 2014 Ebola epidemic to offer additional training opportunities for health care facilities and state health departments.
