CDC, alliance events focus on nuclear readiness
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host a Public Health Grand Rounds session Jan. 16 at 1 p.m. ET on federal, state and local public health efforts to prepare for a nuclear detonation, which will also be webcast live. Later that day, the National Alliance for Radiation Readiness will host a 3 p.m. ET webinar on communication risk tools and state preparedness. AHA is a member of the alliance.
