CDC Webinar for Clinicians Thursday on Flu Season
Experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will educate and update physicians, nurses and other clinicians on the 2017-2018 flu season during a webinar Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. ET. Hospitals are experiencing the busiest flu season since the H1N1 flu pandemic in 2009-2010. The H3N2 strain predominating this season has been associated in past seasons with more hospitalizations and deaths in older adults and young children.
