CMS Releases Compliance Review Priorities for 2018 Exchange Plans
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has released its compliance review priorities for 2018 qualified health plans in the federally-facilitated exchanges. While some of the regulatory standards that the Center for Consumer Information & Insurance Oversight will use to perform 2018 QHP compliance reviews are similar to those for the 2017 compliance reviews, they exclude many of the network adequacy standards and QHP quality standards included last year.
