Nonprofit or public rural entity organizations located in the eight Delta States — Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee — can apply through Dec. 6 for funding to support the development of integrated health care networks, the Health Resources and Services Administration announced last week. The grants are part of the Delta States Rural Development Network Grant Program (Delta Program), which seeks to address unmet local health care needs and prevalent health disparities in rural Delta communities. HRSA will award funding to up to 12 organizations.
