CDC highlights sepsis educational resources
As part of Sepsis Awareness Month, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is encouraging patients and health care professionals to share educational materials from its Get Ahead of Sepsis campaign, which emphasizes the importance of early recognition, timely treatment, reassessment of antibiotic needs, and prevention of infections that can lead to sepsis. The materials include a new quiz that allows patients to test their sepsis knowledge.
