Barbara Muesing, a trustee and auxiliary member at Essentia Health in Fosston, MN, will chair the AHA's 2015 Committee on Volunteers. The specialty committee of the AHA Board of Trustees focuses on the roles, responsibilities and services of organized volunteers and auxilians, as well as the community perspective they provide for the health care field. It also serves as the selection committee for the AHA's Hospital Awards for Volunteer Excellence. Muesing serves on the Minnesota Hospital Association Trustee Council, and is past president of the Minnesota Rural Health Association and Health Care Auxiliary of Minnesota.
