CMS announces 2021 average basic premium for Medicare Part D prescription drug plans
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services yesterday announced that for 2021 the average basic premium for Medicare Part D prescription drug plans will be $30.50.
The premium reflects the first time that seniors who rely on insulin will be able to choose prescription drug plans that include broad sets of insulin priced at no more than $35 per month per prescription.
